Mission Bay Residence
These homeowners had a condominium in downtown San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood.
The small space required us to maximize style and functionality, often in multi-use spaces. Selecting furniture that was both the right size and scale, while also being functional, was an important consideration. For example, the bookcases chosen, though narrow, are very tall and offered storage inside the cabinets and open shelves for books or decorative displays.
The white walls provided a neutral backdrop for the black bookcases to pop. Striped wallpaper lining the backs of the bookcase created additional interest and highlighted the accessories within. The oversized rug was purchased by the homeowners in Cappadocia, Turkey. They fell in love with the colors and pattern and wanted to incorporate it into their home.
