Glen Park Residence

A young, professional bachelor with an art collection inspired by his Philippine roots, hired Melanie Stewart Designs for his mid-century modern-inspired home.

MSD partnered with another design colleague on this project to design the living room, dining room and entryway which included the staircase. Each piece could have been a statement of its own, so we carefully selected key pieces to feature. The furnishings were selected for their detail; channel back velvet chairs, bold patterns in the wallpaper, graphic black and white staircase runner, and lots of texture and details all selected to give each area a focal point and a modern vibe.
